Wine label remover sheets work well on most paper wine labels, but not all labels are made the same.

Do Wine Bottle Label Removers work on all wine labels?
Wine Bottle Label Removers are effective on 95% of tested paper wine labels. However, modern wine labels come in various materials, including plastic and synthetic labels, which may not work with this method.
Generally, thicker paper labels with a rougher surface tend to remove more easily. Since every label is different, the amount of effort required may vary.
We recommend testing on less sentimental labels (or the back label) first to get a feel for the process before attempting to remove a special label until you get the hang of it.

Label remover sheets adhere to the printed surface of the wine label. When you peel the sheet away, the label lifts away from the bottle and is laminated in one step.
This process removes only the printed layer, leaving behind the adhesive and any paper residue on the bottle.

Yes, it the label is paper and firmly attached, the remover sheets often work well on beer and spirit and food labels too.

Will the label remover damage the label?
Will the label remover damage the label?
Some wine labels lift very easily, while others may need a little more care depending on the paper and finish. If a section of the printed surface does not lift cleanly at first, simply lay the remover sheet with label still attached back down, rub firmly over the area, and continue peeling slowly.
What may look like "damage" when the entire label doesn't adhere can be rectified by laying remover back over the label and rubbing the surface until fully adhered.
In some cases, by peeling from the opposite edge can help the remaining section lift smoothly. With a little practice, you’ll quickly develop a feel for how different labels respond.
Because label materials vary from bottle to bottle, results can differ slightly — but most customers find the process straightforward once they’ve tried a few.
We recommend trialing removal on the back label before attempting the front label in these instances.

Once you seperate the label remover from the backing sheet, put the backing sheet aside and affix the removed label to the shiny side of the backing paper. Keep it here until you are ready to place in a wine or travel journal, wine menu or cellar inventory.
Never store in a hot car or let them sit in a hot mailbox.
